40 to special excavator axles with planetary gears in all four wheel hubs. The all-wheel drive features a variable speed motor, powershift transmission, and a double acting travel brake valve. Additionally, there is a direction control lever (for/rev.) on the steering column, along with a steering axle that includes automatic blocking of the pendulum axle and an accelerator pedal control.

Computer controlled AWE5 system with one load limit controlled high performance piston pump and fuel saving oil supply on demand in order to ensure sensitive, proportional and load independent control of all movements. Additionally, there is primary and secondary safeguarding of the hydraulic system against overload, along with anti-cavitation valves for all working functions. Furthermore, throttle control is present in the lifting and folding circuit, along with load-holding valves and subtly acting lowering valves in the lifting circuit.

Shock absorbing resilient mountings, heat insulated panoramic windows provide the best all-around visibility without glare. The interior features a skylight with a window, ergonomic control levers, and an adjustable steering column. Additionally, there is forward and reverse seat adjustment, independent of the control panel, an up and over windscreen, a lockable under roof panel, and air conditioning.
