The founder, owner, and operator of the website specs.lectura.de (hereinafter also referred to as "website") is LECTURA. LECTURA may modify or delete any content and / or functionality of this website at any time without notice.
The user is a natural or legal person to whom LECTURA provides machine data, facilitation of spare part purchase, valuation and other services and the functionality (hereinafter referred to as "service") offered on this website.
- Datasheets – PDF documents, mainly brochures, and handbooks with technical data of the machines in various language versions;
- Machine data – manufacturer, name of the model, time range of manufacture, and other technical data depending on individual categories of the machines, e.g. weight, loading capacity;
- Premium Specs sheet – xls document with up to 250 technical specifications on one machine and the same amount of technical data for up to an additional 5 competing models.
Services provided at LECTURA Specs:
The Specs service allows users to access documents that contain technical data of machines in different languages (datasheets), as well as images, photographs, and videos of the same (hereinafter referred to as "data" or also referred to as "information").
The condition for downloading or viewing the datasheet for the machine that the user chose from a list provided by LECTURA will be user registration using an email address. After registration the user will be able to display the datasheet in a web browser or download it to his or her computer. Access to these datasheets without registration is impossible.
The premium version of Specs allows the user to purchase up to 250 detailed technical specifications on a selected machine and compare them with up to five other competing models of machines selected by LECTURA and its partners. These technical specifications will be sent in xls format to the email address specified by the user. This service is charged according to the current LECTURA price list and is provided in cooperation with Spec Check.
The user can use paid or unpaid Valuation versions depending on the category of the valued machines:
After registering his or her username and email address, the user receives a certificate free of cost on a selected machine. This certificate will be sent to the user’s registered email address. This service is sponsored by a 3rd party and is limited: One registered email address can receive a maximum of five certificates from the same sponsor.
Paying the price that corresponds with the current LECTURA price list, the user will receive a certificate of the cost of the machine, which will be sent to the user's email address. The paid version of Valuation imposes no limits on the number of certificates a user can create.
The output of the valuation service provided on the website is a certificate (hereinafter referred to as Certificate). It is a PDF document containing specifications of the valuated machine, as well as the result of the valuation (price) calculated by LECTURA as an independent European authority on residual price calculation.
Beyond the aforementioned, there is a public valuation certificate, which can be used in other ways than for the needs of the user; however, it is not covered by the standard service and/or services provided on the website. If not expressly stated otherwise on the certificate, the result of the valuation is always a certificate intended exclusively for the needs of the user.
The result of the valuation is based on the latest processed data. The data stated in the certificate must always be valuated as of the date on which the valuation is finished, which is stated in the certificate. The data stated in the certificate always corresponds to the machine based on the configuration parameters entered; the machine must be free of any defect that could prevent it from being considered a machine without defects. LECTURA would like to point out that since the input data used in the valuation process is continuously being updated, two valuations taken at different times for the same machine may differ.
LECTURA is not responsible for the information provided by the supplier of the data or for the enforceability of the results of the valuation. The value of the valuation stated in the certificate is the result of market monitoring carried out by LECTURA and is an average value based on different results from various locations. Based on the location and market situation of the selling party, these values may differ from those of LECTURA. The client should not rely on the information stated in this certificate without performing their own valuation of the machine. Even though LECTURA makes every effort to provide correct information, it is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred in relation to the use of or reliance on this valuation certificate. The values stated in the certificate do not include taxes or rights of third parties and are intended exclusively for informational purposes, as stated above.
Prices listed in the certificate, so-called LECTURA prices, are the average residual value of the selected machine, as calculated by LECTURA. This value includes two prices, purchase price and sales price.
LECTURA specs - spare parts - within this service, LECTURA provides the user with the option of ordering spare parts for machines from the following companies: Kramp, TVH and UrParts. This occurs in two ways: either by direct links to a company’s site or by using the LECTURA form to enter machine data, the spare part(s) required and the user's contact information. The form will subsequently be handed over to the relevant companies, which will then contact the user directly. This mediation of spare parts purchasing is only available for categories of machinery for which LECTURA offers this option.
The database of the technical data and the price of each machine is continuously being updated, which means, in particular, the continuous replenishment or modifying of the function of valuation and other services provided on this website.
