ZTS or CTS?
1 The new generation of 4-6 tonnes JCB compact excavators features a JCB Diesel by Kohler Tier 4 Final engine, with diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), turbocharger and intercooler. It delivers 48 hp and 221 lb-ft torque at just 2,000 rpm. 4 The JCB 4-XTonnen excavator range includes Zero Tail Swing (ZTS) and conventional rear swing machines (CTS) for any application. ZTS offers greater maneuverability within confined jobsites, while CTS machines offer more stability, lifting capacity and a larger digging end. 2 Tracking performance is smooth and precise; this allows exceptional dozer capabilities and fast travel times to be made possible.

Dynamic engine design.
1 A lower idle function reduces engine speed when the operator's armrest is raised for better fuel consumption and lower noise levels. 2 Activate One-Touch Idle by pressing the new slew control selector to quickly reduce revs and save fuel. Programmable auto idling can also be activated after the controls have been inactive for a while. 3 The engine rpm can be controlled with four different power bands - light, eco, heavy and heavy plus – easily set to optimal hydraulic flow for the selected attachment. 4 The patented low pressure recirculation circuit improves fuel efficiency once again by reducing demand on the hydraulic pump.

1 The spacious new generation of JCB compact excavators are easily accessed via a wide-opening door. Both auxiliary lines are electronically proportionally controlled and fully adjustable for optimal attachment control. 6 The optional 4-way dozer planer can be angled right and left. Combined with the dozer float function, levelling and backfilling makes easy even on inclines or uneven terrain.

Maximum protection.
1 The new generation of JCB excavators are fully ROPS and TOPS compliant. For increased protection, impact guard glass is an available option. 2 The unique JCB 2GO system requires two separate inputs so the hydraulic system can only be operated when in a safe lockable position. 3 Our unique 2GO system ensures that your compact excavator hydraulics can safely be operated via just two separate entrances. As an optional safety feature, hydraulics can only be activated if the operator sits and the seat belt is latched. 4 hose breakout test valves (HBCV) are available for the boom, dozer and arm with one overload screen. 5 The monitor includes a load monitor with indicator lights from green to red area.
