THE NEW GENERATION 1-2 TONNE COMPACT EXCAVATOR RANGE FROM JCB ENCOMPASSES FIVE MODELS INCLUDING FOUR CONVENTIONAL TAILSWING AND ONE ZERO TAILSWING MODEL.
There are two light conventional Tailswing models, the 15C and 16C. These are ideal to be hauled behind a van or pickup. The 15C is a standard specification, the single speed tracking fixed chassis model driven by a gear pump. The carry weight of the 16C at 1674kg with a cab is expanded through a retractable undercarriage, two speed tracking and a variable displacement pump. The 19C shares the same compact footprint as the rest of the range but has greater tear-out and lifting capacity for customers in larger requirements. In addition, there's the option of a 1344mm dipper with wider reach and digging depth. Additionally, the 19C PC offers additional operating functions that offer improved operation experience to customer. Features such as Electro Proportional Control, Auto Kickdown, Travel Motors plus the ability to hydraulic quick coupler, additional auxiliary lines and adjustable auxiliary flows are available. The 18Z is a zero tail model which provides the same performance features as the 16C, but makes work easier in a zero tail construction package like tight environments: e.g.

1 Easy pre-start checks allow you to check fluid oil level, while an analog hour meter gives you quick and easy visibility without the machine having to be engaged. Standard two speed tracking is operated by a button on the dozer unit. Auto kick down is standard on the 19C-1 PC and optional on the 16C-1, 18Z-1 and 19C-1. 2 New right side positioned panel with simple key functions, easily readable indicators and warnings always allows the operator to know about machine status as well as possible risks. 3 Standard electro proportional control on the 19C-1 PC enables new finer control using an additional thumb switch for precise control of attachments.

As a result, all models do not require mirrors to meet EU regulations. 5 The unique JCB 2GO system gives an additional layer of safety, which means that all controls are fully isolated unless the 2GO button is activated. To enhance safety there is one Thatcham approved immobiliser eliminating the possibility of unauthorized starting. With the Livelink software system and Datatag on the minis you can set up a geofence and working restrictions on machines. A key advantage of the combination of Livelink and Displacement Lock is the remote Pincode Management System allowing you to approve or deny usage of the machine by remote access. Up to 14 individual pin codes can be programmed into the system providing the ability to adjust operating settings by inserting a separate auxiliary mode in each code.
