The EW55B wheel model delivers proven power with a 16-value, 52 hp (38 kW) volvo engine. Both machines are built for digging offering impressive bucket diger forces. Dipper movement is extremely fast for more productive cycle times. The EC55B Pro's optional long dipper arm provides even more power. In addition, the Total Power Control hydraulic system ensures absolute freedom of movement for smooth, productive work cycles. The EC55B Pro has a large lift cylinder together with increased hydraulic system pressure for higher lifting capacity and increased productivity. A sturdy, rigid design
The center of the undercarriage is on the EC55B Pro X-shaped, while the EW55B is equipped with heavy duty axle housings. Both exceed expectations in extreme conditions and offer greater durability, better load distribution and more stable operation. The undercarriages each model are also very long for incredible stability, performance and comfort. The blade cylinder and connections are well protected against damage. For protection from damage, the EC55B Pro features vibration guard tracks as well as the EW55B wheels provide smooth travel even at higher speeds. The counterweight is rounded off and wraps around the sides to protect the engine cover which is reset by the counterweight to protect it even more. Both machines respectively offer improved conventional design that delivers higher digging power.The EC55B Pro has a larger, longer counterweight for increased balance, stability and lifting capacity. With a combination of increased hydraulic pressure and a heavier counterweight, both machines feature reinforced slope swings for fast cycle times when performing inclines.
