The Cat 302.2D cabin is one of the largest in the industry. The flat cab floor optimizes visibility and increases operator leg room. The ergonomic control layout provides a comfortable, highly productive workplace. Due to the large two-piece front windshield, the driver can slide both lower and upper panes under the cab roof thus protecting them from damage on wide open front screen. This also negates the need to separate or lay down the lower windscreen separately.
All daily checks and regular service points, are easily accessed.
A large steel rear door and removable panels allow efficient work on the machine when needed. The main hydraulic valve and piping are also easily reached through a removable floor plate and side panels. Durable steel body plates around the machine provide good resistance to damage and are serviced without any problems so that the machine looks well and maintains its value. Both side-by-side sheets and cabin floor panel can be removed easily, providing unobstructed access to all internal hydraulic components.
