Automatic two-speed travel
Experience an increased working range of new digging equipment along with improved boom and attachment geometry. With its 5-tonne weight, this machine effectively handles heavy loads with greater stability, balance and control. Tractive force has improved. For optimized travel speed and traction, the automatic two-speed driving function allows the operator to continuously drive the machine at high speeds. When more effort is needed, speed is automatically reduced.
Digging forces
Up and forward pushing on the blade lever engages the blade cylinder to exert a minimum but consistent amount of leaf drive force. Thanks to its ideally rounded design, the float blade offers precision finishing and is ideal for ground levelling, grading and contouring. Engine access
Spend more time working and less time performing service tasks with grease points on the same side of the machine and a 50-hour minimum lubrication interval for all greasing points. The side position of the engine allows easy access to grouped check points including engine oil, air filter, coolant level and fuel filtration control. Maintenance interval between motor oil and engine filter is up to 500 hours.
Patented hydraulic filter
Volvo's patented, multi-functional hydraulic oil filter ensures filtration when the tank is filled or replenished and before it returns via drain lines. Anti-theft system (option)
The wide opening door, anti-slip step and three point safety system ensure easy cab access. To further increase operator comfort when entering or exiting the cabin, the console tilts to the rear.
