With these new models, you have mini-excavate in XL format: High digging forces, functional design, more space. Schaeff offers two models in the 3.5 ton segment. They have the choice between a machine width of only 1500 mm which enables a wide range of possible transport options or a minimum rear overhang of just 60 mm. Both equipped with high performance genes.
TRADITION MEETS PROGRESS
The Schaeff philosophy of conventional construction, articulated-matik and top mounted cylinders have been retained. A completely new machine has been built around these elements, from high performance brand components to the new driver's cab.

ENGINE AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
Compared to current competitor models, the mini excavator offers an average of 20 % more working capacity when digging trenches quickly for example. LUDV (Load Independent Flow Sharing) hydraulics are offered by only a few models in this class. Even for extreme terrain, the bucket dig powerfully and is completely filled up.

Downtimes and service costs are reduced overall.
In order to save time during daily service, easy access and combined service points are key elements. The two-piece engine hood opens up far upward so the daily inspection points can be accessed directly or monitored via gauge glasses or already visible from outside on most models. Direct refueling made of canisters is easily possible at work height. The fuel tank has an ample capacity of 68, All locks (including ignition) can be operated with just one central key.

ADDITIONAL CONTROL CIRCUIT WITH SCHAEFF FINGERTIP CONTROL
The first electrically proportional auxiliary control circuit comes as standard for precise operation of attachment tools. With the Schaeff Fingertip Control, actuation of hydraulic functions with a thumb wheel on the joystick is extremely easy. This allows the operator to regulate oil flow precisely from ‘min' to ‘max‘, an advantage when controlling attachments such as clamshell buckets or rocking shovels. Also available for a second control circuit on left joystick.

ERGONOMICS
Particular attention has been paid to ergonomics on all models; for example, the blade lever offers an integrated travel speed controller (independent of which auto 2-speed is automatically controlled). This feature makes leveling and digging much easier.

The new XL cab (ROPS/TOPS certified) offers room and comfort like the "big ones". For a quick start, the console can be raised for more space to get into the cabin. Footwell provides enough space even in shoe sizes 15 and larger. In general, the workplace can be individually aligned to the size of the driver. Generous glass surfaces allow optimal visibility of attachment tools and working climate. Quick change of Cab to Canopy.

SCHAEFF KNICKMATIK®
The Schaeff articulated hydraulic system with adjustable articulated boom system is ideal for working along walls or embankments. The overall articulation angle is an impressive 120. The swing cylinder does not project over the track, thus being protected from damage.

With Schaeff-specific design features, damage is avoided right from the start: No damage occurs due to the upper position of the top mounted cylinder, for example when loading trucks there is contact with the bucket or between the piston rod and the loading edge. The articulatedmatics?Cylinders have been deliberately placed on the left so that in case of a collision they are protected against damage.

The hydraulics on the work device are well protected by the boom, or it is located very close along the boom.
