THE IMMOBILIZING SYSTEM
The industry's first standard anti-theft system makes safety as easy as turning a key the right key, because the engine will not start until you use the correct IC equipped operating key.
SECURITY
Only a correspondingly programmed operating key starts the engine. Inserting other keys and turning this more than six times activates an alarm that stops only when the right button is inserted and the ignition is switched to RUN.
EASY PROGRAMMING
A programming button (red) and two operator buttons (black) are available. To program additional operating keys, simply insert the red button and follow the instructions on the digital panel. Per mini-excavator can be programmed up to a maximum of four black

Kubota's Intelligent Control System informs you with timely diagnostic readings and routine maintenance alerts that can reduce downtime and repair fees. The large digital control panel shows current working conditions, warning indicators for engine rpm and hour meter as well as fuel, temperature and oil levels. It even tells you when tank fill up when the tank is almost full.

Kubota's unique, new E-TVCS (Three Vortex Combustion System) enables high energy output, low vibration and low fuel consumption while minimizing exhaust emissions.
Easy engine inspection
Important components such as the engine and air cleaner are easily accessed for inspection and maintenance through the engine cover. An engine inspection behind the seat provides quick access to the engine injection nozzles. A side-by-side coverage on the right cab side allows fast and easy access to battery, fuel tank and hydraulic tank.

Simultaneous operation of four functions
When simultaneous operation of boom, arm, bucket and swing is required, two variable pumps distribute an exact amount of oil flow to each actuator depending on lever lift pressure. This process is achieved without loss of speed or power allowing continuous high performance digging and dozing.
Straight travel
For safer loading/unloading, the hydraulic matching system ensures a straight line even during simultaneous operation.

Undercarriage (U20-3αonly)
The U20-3α hydraulic track gauge adjusts between 1300 mm and 1500 mm. With a single lever, you can reduce the track gauge to navigate narrow spaces or increase them in order to improve stability when operating with hydraulic breakers etc.

2-Speed Travel Switch on Dozer Lever
The newly designed travel switch is conveniently located on the dozer lever for more efficient dozing operation, allowing you to quickly and easily change travel speed. The new location also offers more legroom for greater operator comfort.

Ergonomic design

Protected bucket cylinder hoses
Cylinder hoses are routed in the arm for greater safety. This design greatly improves operator visibility, increasing service life and lowering repair costs.
Two-piece hose design
The innovative, two-piece hydraulic hose design for the dozer reduces hose replacement time by 60% compared to a one-piece hose design. In addition, this design eliminates virtually heavy work from the actual hose change process.
