Wrist rest
With this new feature to assist with smooth operation and produce less operator fatigue, wrist rests are fitted as standard. Easy adjustments can be made easily, in addition the operation is smoother and low-fatigue.

Variable displacement pump
For efficient operation, both the oil flow and pressure from the variable displacement pumps are adapted to the workload. By using variable pumps a more efficient engine is selected which results in fuel efficiency, low vibration and noise levels.
Low noise level
When designing the KX61-3, we have continued to focus on being environmentally and user-friendly. Thus, the noise level of the KX61-3 in the cab is an amazingly low 77 db.

Kubota Intelligent Control System
An innovative upgrade that keeps you always in tune with the vital signs of the KX61-3. Kubota Intelligent Communication Control System is equipped with warning indicators for engine, fuel, temperature and oil; a service mode allowing accurate troubleshooting; as well as standard indicators displaying current working conditions such as engine rpm, hour meter & more.

Digging arm and bucket
Equipped with the longest arm, the KX61-3 delivers the largest digging depth and reach of all 2.5-ton class. Even during the long arm specification it still generates the greatest power in its class for both the arm and bucket trenching.
Boom swing / Auxiliary operation
For easier operation, the boom swing pedal and auxiliary hydraulic operations are controlled by independent pedals, with one pedal located on the right side of the floor and the other on the left side.

Protected bucket cylinder hoses
To extend life and improve visibility, bucket cylinder hoses have been well protected through the arm.
Boom cylinder protector
Thanks to a V-shaped thick plate, the boom cylinder is protected from unexpected damage caused by the breaker or other attachments, rocks, loading onto a truck etc.
Well protected front attachment hoses
To prevent accidental damage to the front hoses, they are routed through the swing bracket. Also, a metal cover plate located at the back of the boom protects the operator under a hose breakage.
Dozer cylinder hoses
With a more efficient two-piece design, the KX61-3's dozer cylinder hoses can be quickly replaced on site.
Deluxe cabin
For you to work longer, our larger cab offers maximum comfort. It provides more legroom, an adjustable suspension seat, a radio installation kit and excellent visibility. Cabs and canopy offer ROPS/FOPS safety.

Safety lock system
To prevent unexpected machine movements, the safety lever must be raised to lock out the travel levers and pilot controls before the engine starts.
