Tilt-Up Operator Compartment
For easy access to hydraulic and engine components, the operator's compartment tilts forward. This feature is not required for daily inspection.

Automatic Two-Speed Travel
In high speed mode, travel speed is automatically shifted from high speed to low speed according to the load on the machine.

In order to start the machine, the left or
the right-hand console must be in upward position. Lower the console and lever into downward position to activate the travel and hydraulic system.

X-Track Frame
Due to its rounded design and wide openings, ground does not accumulate on the track frame. The x-frame also ensures greater strength and rigidity. Photos may include optional equipment.

Large Operator's Space
The operator can comfortably operate the machine thanks to the suspension seat with adjustable seat back side. On Canopy models, the operator can easily enter and exit from either side due to increased foot space and two-stage ROPS canopy.
Large Operator's Cab
The cabin of the MR-2 series compact excavators has the same foot space as the larger PC228USLC-3 excavator.
Large Entrance and Foot Space
The two-piece ROPS/FOPS canopy allows the operator to enter and exit from both sides. Also, the canopy / cab provides the operator with foot space equal to the larger PC228USLC-3 excavator.
Two–Post ROPS/FOPS
ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) Canopy/Cab meets the requirements of ROPS with the advantage of a two post design. According to SAE and ISO Standard excavators are not required to have FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure); however, the MR-2 series complies with the standard.
