Safety features

A sophisticated system of sensors disables the movement and functions of the compact Komatsu loader if the operator performs incorrect operations. This once again demonstrates the attention paid by the designers to ensuring maximum safety in the workplace. The SK09J-2 provides excellent all-round visibility even thanks to the special loader arm profile: the operator can at all times identify the position of the machine in respect to its surroundings, especially when working in restricted spaces.

Superior engine and hydraulic system

The new-generation Komatsu engine guarantees not only high power and low fuel consumption, but reduced gaseous emissions, low noise levels, limited vibrations, excellent reliability and easy accessibility for routine maintenance operations. The closed-centre hydraulic system, with direct discharge on the pump, ensures both smooth, progressive movements and hydraulic power.

Simplified maintenance

Special attention has been paid to making routine and specific maintenance operations as simple as possible. Routine maintenance operations can be performed by opening the rear door, allowing easy access to all the check points. For special maintenance operations, the tilting cab offers full access to the transmission and hydraulic system components.
