IMPROVED STABILITY AND LIFTING CAPACITY
Although the operating weight of the vio38-6 is reduced to 3 695 kg, optimal mass distribution allows for improving the loading map of the machine in most positions, particularly in front positions. In addition, the boom on the Vio38-6 has been completely redesigned to improve its lifting capacity and digging performance also ensuring a longer service life.

Looking towards the operator at the heart of his design initiatives, Yanmar developed the Universal Design concept that gives you comfort for improved productivity. Combined to an increased leg room it allows improvement of convenience and operator safety. Operator controls and switches are ergonomically arranged to be easily accessible.

The vio38-6 design ensures an ergonomic environment, excellent visibility and exceptional safety. The shape of the cab gives the operator optimal 360 visibility to improve job site safety and make working more efficient.The vio38-6 is equipped with two mirrors so that the operator can control the work area without changing from the seat.
IN STANDARD
The vio38-6 is standard equipped with an air-suspended seat to provide optimum comfort for a machine of this weight class. Fully adjustable and with a headrest, it reduces body tension and fatigue.

NEW GENERATION YANMAR ENGINE
The latest generation of Yanmar TNV engines: electronically controlled 3-cylinder engine with direct injection to improve power, fuel consumption and emission levels. Auto retardation and Eco mode are available as standard.
NEW GENERATION ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED YANMAR MOTOR
With an output of 18.9 kw at 2200 rpm, the yanmar 3tnv88-esbv engine is the result of our continuous efforts to achieve technological advances in fuel consumption and emissions. with the vio38-6 gives yanmar priority over the environment and fuel savings: + A control unit manages RPM according to torque thus optimizing Engine load. This can save fuel while increasing Machine productivity. + An auto deceleration system (standard) further reduces Fuel Consumption by allowing the engine to go back into idle when the operator does not touch the operating levers for 4 seconds. + An Eco Mode effectively checks the 300 rpm reduced engine speed which allows very low fuel consumption.

Vipps hydraulic system
The vio38-6 is equipped with a vipps hydraulic system, which cumulates the flow of separate pumps to maintain the optimal combination in terms of speed, power, smoothness and balance so that all operations can perform evenly while travelling.

Vipps hydraulic system (v¡o progressive 3 pump system)
The vio38-6 is equipped with a Vipp hydraulic system (Vio Progressive 3 Pump System). This hydraulic system features the use of 4 hydraulic pumps, 2 variable displacement pumps and 2 gear pumps, including one for joysticks) to deliver total flow up to 111 l/min. To complete the system Yanmar uses a control valve based on the Vipp principle which cumulates the flow of separate pumps to maintain the optimal combination in terms of speed, power, smoothness and balance.
EASE OF USE PROPORTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AUXILIARY CIRCUIT
Standard equipment of the vio38-6 includes an auxiliary hydraulic circuit operated via a proportional control on the joystick that adjusts flow and direction of oil flow.

The second speed switch has also been laid on the blade lever to make it easier to use the machine.

PROTECTION ON THE MARKET EFFICIENCY AND LOW CONSUMPTION
The structure of the vio38-6 cab has been designed to meet the ROPS (Roll-Over Protective Structure) certification as well as the FOPS (Falling Object Protective Structure) level, The vio38-6 benefits from a unique and complete protection of all its booms and arm cylinders. All cylinder pipes and sticks are protected by a spring type steel plate which dramatically reduces the total cost of ownership of the machine. To be able to work safely, efficiently and with accuracy in darkness, the vio38-6 is standardly equipped with 1 guided light positioned within the inner part of the boom.
