Interlocks in the spreader twistlocks prevent un-intentioned container release. Additionally, sensors in the lift system prevent damage to containers and the spreader by cutting out lowering functions when the toplift is seated. Furthermore, drive system inhibitors prevent incorrect downshift and reverse direction operation.
