Load Stability System (LSS)

LSS automatically dampens abrupt stops that could otherwise cause the load to swing. This makes crane operation faster and smoother and helps protect the cargo, the vehicle and the work environment in the vicinity of the crane against potential damage.

PFD – Pump Flow Distribution

PFD distributes oil in perfect proportion to control system lever movements, ensuring seamless operation. Combined with optimised hydraulics and high-quality valves, this minimises energy needs and fuel consumption.

Control that saves time and fuel

The instant response from the HiPro system is nothing short of extraordinary. Pump Flow Distribution (PFD) keeps the crane’s movements in perfect proportion to your control movements, and because the oil can be supplied with a variable oil pump, no more oil is pumped than necessary. That ensures the lowest possible fuel consumption, which means lower emissions as well.

Pallet fork

Handling loads with a pallet fork has a number of advantages. Since the load is palletised and lifted from underneath, it is possible to lift many different types of loads – including soft and flexible loads as well as solid ones. A pallet fork is also less expensive than the main alternative, a brick grab.

Brick grab

There is a lot to gain from using a brick grab, including speedier handling of your loads. The load does not have to be palletised, and it can be handled even in awkward positions where space is limited. HIAB brick grabs are extremely versatile and made to withstand heavy-duty work – all day, every day.

Quick Change Systems

The quick change system enables an easy exchange between different attachments. The mechanical coupling and locking is achieved by the turning motion of the rotator. You simply disconnect the quick couplings and disengage the locking device manually. The quick change system allows the easy exchange between pallet fork and brick stack grapple for example.

CTC – Crane Tip Control

Crane Tip Control is a software feature for HIAB’s HiPro control system that makes it possible to perform complex movements with just one lever. As the name suggests, CTC gives the user improved control of the tip of the crane. Operators only need to focus on moving their load to a specific point in space, and CTC will calculate the optimum path to get there.

IQ control

The HIAB L-HiPro and L-HiDuo cranes feature the SPACE X4 intelligence system for efficient monitoring and controlling all electronic functions. The system has a simple and intuitive interface for maximal peace-of-mind. To further facilitate operation, the HIAB L-HiPro and L-HiDuo cranes are also equipped with an external display as option.
