Load Stability System (LSS)

LSS automatically dampens abrupt stops that could otherwise cause the load to swing. This makes crane operation faster and smoother and helps protect the cargo, the vehicle and the work environment in the vicinity of the crane against potential damage.

ASC – Automatic Speed Control

ASC increases lifting capacity up to 10%, all in one smooth, continuous motion. This feature, unique to HIAB, engages automatically, meaning the operator does not feel or notice anything. The function activates as you reach the regular capacity limit, making it possible to lift a load where other cranes would come to a complete stop. To compensate for the capacity boost, the speeds of the first and second booms are slightly reduced. The result is a significant increase in capacity ceiling, safety and efficiency.

Added Capacity

CTC – Crane Tip Control

Crane Tip Control is a software feature for HIAB’s HiPro control system that makes it possible to perform complex movements with just one lever. As the name suggests, CTC gives the user improved control of the tip of the crane. Operators only need to focus on moving their load to a specific point in space, and CTC will calculate the optimum path to get there.

PFD – Pump Flow Distribution

PFD distributes oil in perfect proportion to control system lever movements, ensuring seamless operation. Combined with optimised hydraulics and high-quality valves, this minimises energy needs and fuel consumption.

IQ control
