Starscreen Technology
Starscreens consist of screening stars with stable fingers fitted to star screen shafts. During the screening process, the shafts rotate in one direction. The screening fingers act as a sieve created by over the screening stars and loosened. Fine material turns in the free space between the fingers and falls onto a conveyor belt below. In some starlet screens, hubs automatically clean themselves by extending the front and rear shafts with the stars. The elasticity of the screening fingers helps with the self-cleaning.
Backers 3 Fraction Starscreen Machine Functionality
The 3-fraction starscreen machines use starscreen decks to grade materials. They consist of the main, medium grain, and gear discharge from the input material. Optimally, the 3 fraction screening machines can be equipped with a grid or vibrating grid. The material enters out of the hopper into the coarse screener, where it is lifted. The material for the fine screening deck is transported to the rear. The coarse material is used for industry, while fine grain is processed in batches and added to the fine screening. The grain size is determined by the size of the screening stars and space, as well as by the speed of rotation. The optimum size of particles for screening is >6 mm.
