Automatic speed reduction – Jungheinrich curveCONTROL automatically reduces travel speed when the reach truck turns past a predetermined steer angle, despite the operator’s drive speed command. Steer with control – Positioning the reach truck in an aisle is simplified with the ETR’s electronic power steering. This drive-by-wire system is extremely smooth and quiet and requires minimal effort to operate. Automatic parking brake – The electromagnetic brake is mounted to the top of the drive motor and is only deactivated when the operator commands travel. It is automatically set when power is turned off or the operator steps off the traction pedal.

Icons are directly integrated into the handle, making operation more intuitive and allowing for more precise handling of loads. If an operator is already accustomed to operating reach trucks with a competitor-style control handle, our optional horizontal-style multifunction ECHO control handle provides flexibility and helps to minimize learning curve.
