Driveline

Continuous hydrostatic driveline. Swash plate type variable flow pump and two variable axial piston motors in closed loop circuit and axle transfer case. Direction of travel is reversed by changing the flow-direction of the variable-displacement pump.

Brakes

Wear-free service brake. Self-locking of the hydrostatic driveline (acting on all four wheels) and additional pump-accumulator brake system with wet multi-disc brakes located in the differential housing (two separate brake circuits).

The cooling system is fitted directly behind the operator’s cab and is thus able to take in air which is free of dust. In especially dusty applications, optional equipment such as reversible fan drive, fluff trap for the radiator and large-mesh radiator protect the cooling system from contaminants getting in. A wide range of hydraulic and mechanical attachments can be changed fully automatically, safely and without any oil leaks direct from the cab in a matter of seconds by pressing a button. LIKUFIX contributes to higher utilisation of the wheel loader, thus increasing operational efficiency.

Joystick Steering (optional)

The optional joystick steering integrated into the operator’s seat is a new, innovative and improved steering system. All the machine’s working and driving functions can be controlled precisely and with a high degree of sensitivity. The intuitive operation is similar to that of a steering wheel, and the joystick’s orientation corresponds to the desired wheel loader articulation angle. In addition, the forces acting on the steering are transmitted to the joystick. This makes precise and safe operation possible at any speed. The operator’s cab is also optionally available without steering wheel and column with joystick steering only. Elimination of the need for the operator to move their hands between the steering unit and the control unit increases safety and comfort.

Touchscreen Display

Tipping Load

What is tipping load? Load at the centre of gravity of working equipment, so that the wheel loader just begins to tip over the front axle. This is the most unfavourable static-load position for the wheel loader, with lifting arms horizontal and the wheel loader fully articulated at the centre pivot. Pay load must not exceed 50% of the tipping load when articulated, which is equivalent to a static stability-margin factor of 2.0. The bucket volume is determined from the pay load.
