High Breaking Power

Although, MTB breakers need lower power from the excavator, MTB impact energies are higher than many other breakers. This comes from the excellent design of MTB pistons.

MTB Medium Size Hydraulic Breakers

Hydraulic Breakers are chosen according to carrying capacity of the carrier machines. There are designed 5 sort of MTB models with 650 to 1870 kg weight for 7-29 ton class excavator. There are big size excavators are used at the open mine and quarry, and medium size breakers are not used at these applications. Medium Size MTB Breakers are used for trenching, ditching, excavation, demolition, tunnel construction, underwater application and etc. Medium Size MTBs are given high class performance and easy operation with perfect design, high impact energy, low maintenance cost for you.

MTB Demolition Attachments

MTB Demolition Attachments are useful for primary and secondary concrete demolition. There are different designs for demolition applications. There are technical specifications of primary and secondary demolition attachments.

Adaptable

A range of drive units with different auger diameters and digging teeth means MTAG is available for all types of excavators, and suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Crusher-CRS

The jaw design is suitable for cutting concrete and reinforced concrete structures as a primary demolition. Behind the jaws, there are steel blades to cut iron bars inside the concrete.

Shear-SHR

Shear is available to cut rebar, iron blocks of steel structures (building, road beams etc.), dismantle the ships for recycling and etc. It allows primary demolition of the steel structures quite, fast and safe.

Wear Parts

All round teeth: made of tempered material, bolt-on teeth are suitable for earth and clay. Strong tungsten teeth: tungsten tipped, suitable for medium - rich soil, stony or frozen ground, heavy clay or asphalt.

Renewed Vital Parts

The New Generation MTB's have been developed to increase working life and performance. Some vital parts' design has been modified.

Strong Buffer Support

The buffer system (side, top and bottom buffers) that is used in MTB breakers has special impact and vibration absorbing properties. This protects the breaker and excavator.

Piston

The stress coming to the impact area has been reduced by extending the impact area. Additionally, it provides efficient impact transfer to the chisel.

Front Head

With the new front head design, the stress on the front head and side rod has been reduced. The area between the side rod nut and tool pin experiences more stress during operation. This stress has been decreased by increasing the distance between the side rod nut and tool pin with NG MTBs. The NG MTBs' front head is stronger than before.

Side Rod

The New Generation MTB's (NG MTB) side rod length is shorter than before and features mono anti-vibration rubber. The old series had two rubbers, which allowed dust and mud to accumulate between them, causing the side rod to become stuck inside the front head. NG MTBs do not have this problem. The shorter side rod experiences less stress than a longer one, with a 30% reduction in stress due to the new front head design. The thread of the side rod is formed using a high technology method instead of traditional machining.

Blank Firing (Idle Stroke) Protection

MTB breakers operate without the piston touching the cylinder (steel to steel) during blank firing. Our MTBs have a larger volume oil cushion chamber than other brands, providing strong hydraulic suspension. As a result, the MTB breaker can operate without interruption. Other brands use a stop function or variable stroke control. The 'stop function' relies on relief control, which continuously opens and closes the relief valve, causing hydraulic oil to heat up and potentially damaging the breaker and excavator components. The 'variable stroke function' is designed with complicated valves on the breaker, which can lead to issues.

Grease Pump

The MTU grease pump design differs from standard grease pumps. It is driven by the vibration force of the breaker rather than hydraulic pressure, eliminating the need for any hydraulic connection. It is sufficient to connect the grease line from the pump to the breaker, allowing for easy maintenance and suitable force without affecting breaker operation.

Special Design For Tunneling Application

The MTB New Generation 'S Series' features a special piston design to enhance working life. Its superior breaking power and blank firing protection (hydraulic suspension) ensure high performance, productivity, and continuous operation without interruption, thanks to a non-stop function for blank firing. An autogreasing system and tool bushing wiper provide continuous lubrication and prevent dust from entering the breaker.

Underwater Application

MTB Breakers can be effectively used for underwater applications. If water fills the space where the piston strikes the tool, a strong pressure wave can occur, potentially damaging the breaker. To mitigate this, there is an air line on the breaker that supplies compressed air to the piston impact area, effectively removing water and preventing adverse effects.

Big Volume Accumulator

Hydraulic Accumulator protects the breaker from peak pressure. The hydraulic accumulator doesn't need gas charging for a long time and recharging at the job site.

Mtb Drifter (DRF Series)

DRF drifter is designed to drill hard rock by hammering, rotating and flushing rock part tides, of which system is consisted of a simple and practical component. Hydraulic drifter is composed flushing part, rotation device and hammering-device. High drilling speed has been attained by increasing the efficiency of hammering energy, which increases the life of consumables. An automatic pressure regulator is provided to adjust pressure in order to meet the various rock properties. DRF drifter is used for drilling holes for explosion preparations in the mines and for mounting steel construction on the walls of tunnel constructions.

Thrust Ring/Tool

The thrust ring design has been changed completely. The chisel and thrust ring touching face angle has been changed from 45° to 60° degree. With this design, the touch-face area is much larger than before, providing a significantly longer wearing life. Additionally, the premature area of the tool, designed both before and after recessing, has been removed. This modification could decrease premature breaking of the tool at the retaining area after the excessive tightening limit of the bushing.

Strong Housing

Housing material is a special bending type material, that's why it is strong. Also the welds on housing are reduced and no housing bolts are used. This makes the housing more rigid and stronger.

C-Type Housing For Marble Mines

The breakers can be used sometimes like a "ripper". This application is never recommended, as otherwise, housing will be damaged. MTB suggests avoiding the use of a hammer like a ripper, but for this kind of application, MTB has developed the "C-Type" housing design if it is not possible to avoid. "C-Type" housing has long life and high quality for marble and heavy duty jobs.
