Industrial Hoist Family

THE INDUSTRIAL HOIST FAMILY is a flexible and upgradable transport system for people, materials and tools, with a spacious hoist cage up to a lifting height of 200 m.

Configurations

THE MODULAR SYSTEM allows you to choose the required configuration with special features and characteristics. The hoist family offers different cage sizes, speed options and payload capacities. Additionally, there is a wide variety of landing doors and mast anchoring systems.

Safety Brake

THE SAFETY BRAKE ensures that even in a complete breakdown of the drive unit, the cage will not fall down. A mechanical, spring-loaded safety brake is a standard safety feature in every model. It improves the safety and reliability of the hoist in everyday use. The long-lasting safety brake is well protected from dirt and dust and is practically maintenance-free.

Cage

HOIST CAGES are available in several sizes and different door positions. The smallest cage’s internal footprint size is 780x1010 mm with a height of 2090 mm. But since the hoist design is modular, the width and depth of the cage can be grown in increments of 120 mm. The largest internal dimensions of the cage being 1020x1730 mm. A front door (A), back door (B) and big side door (C) are available.

Ground Station

THE GROUND STATION is bolted on a concrete or similar foundation. The standard ground station is equipped with one (A) door but there are optionally available a back door (B) and a wider side door (C).

Mast

3 DIFFERENT MAST TYPES are available. Mast sizes are: 650x76 mm (flat), 650x200 mm and 650x 650 mm. All mast sections are 1508 mm high. Mast sections are hot-dip galvanized to ensure long life-time. Mast rack bars are precision made to avoid misalignment, which commonly causes wear and tear.

More power, less power consumption

SCANCLIMBER’S INDUSTRIAL HOISTS can be equipped with a frequency control unit (VFC), with closed-loop, which gives very smooth starting and stopping with low starting current and less wear and tear.

Different masts for different uses

A MAST CAN BE CHOSEN according the installation space. Special conditions may require a very small hoist footprint. Then, narrow two-pipe or four-pipe masts can be used. When heavier payloads and long anchoring distances are required, industrial hoists can be erected with a 650x650 rigid mast. This allows the maximum anchoring distance of 10 meters.

Overload prevention

THE HOIST is equipped with an overload control system, preventing the use of the hoist if it is overloaded by more than 10% above it’s nominal capacity.
