Structural

Structures are fabricated from high strength, low alloy steel castings for maximum strength and extreme climate temperature properties. The front axle is an integral part of the front frame. The rear axle is supported by isolation mounts. Unique front axle and bucket joints are utilized to minimize stress and fatigue on rear frame articulation, hoist cylinders, and steering cylinders. These joints are superior in absorbing and distributing multi-directional stresses. Features easily replaceable brass liners for long life and easy maintenance. High strength castings are used in key areas of fabricated structures to reduce stress and improve structural life.


Hydraulic system

Braking system

Primary braking system is controlled from the accelerator pedal and can decelerate the loader to a full stop without application of mechanical brakes. Secondary brake system is an accumulator back-up for speed disc brakes. Single acting caliper on each traction motor. Emergency full air brakes are spring applied in the event of air pressure loss. Parking brake system is spring applied, air releases traction motor speed disc brakes.


Air filtration

Primary air filtration is a P&H self-cleaning Klenz filtration system with 99.5% efficiency removing to 0.3 microns (nominal). It extends maintenance intervals. It is filtered for cab engine, drive system cooling and pressurized cab. Secondary air filtration has dual safety filters for engine.
