High Breaking Power

Although, MTB breakers need lower power from the excavator, MTB impact energies are higher than many other breakers. This comes from the excellent design of MTB pistons.


MTB Medium Size Hydraulic Breakers

Hydraulic Breakers are chosen according to carrying capacity of the carrier machines. There are designed 5 sort of MTB models with 650 to 1870 kg weight for 7-29 ton class excavator. There are big size excavators are used at the open mine and quarry, and medium size breakers are not used at these applications. Medium Size MTB Breakers are used for trenching, ditching, excavation, demolition, tunnel construction, underwater application and etc. Medium Size MTBs are given high class performance and easy operation with perfect design, high impact energy, low maintenance cost for you.


MTB Demolition Attachments

MTB Demolition Attachments are useful for primary and secondary concrete demolition. There are different designs for demolition applications. There are technical specifications of primary and secondary demolition attachments.


MTB Compactor (CMP Series)

CMP Hydraulic Compactors are mounted on Mini Excavators, Backhoe - Loaders, Excavators and similar Main Machines with hydraulic power unit. Hydraulic compactor compacts by high frequency impact power. This vibration force is used for compaction of soil, granular material, piles, driving of post and sheet sheeting timber. The optional rotation function turns the compactor 360°.

Application

Crusher-CRS

The jaw design is suitable for cutting concrete and reinforced concrete structures as a primary demolition. Behind the jaws, there are steel blades to cut iron bars inside the concrete.


Shear-SHR

Shear is available to cut rebar, iron blocks of steel structures (building, road beams etc.), dismantle the ships for recycling and etc. It allows primary demolition of the steel structures quite, fast and safe.


Wear Parts

All round teeth: made of tempered material, bolt-on teeth are suitable for earth and clay. Strong tungsten teeth: tungsten tipped, suitable for medium - rich soil, stony or frozen ground, heavy clay or asphalt.

Hammer

Grease Pump

MTU grease pump design is different than other standard grease pumps. It is driven by the vibration force of the breaker. It does not work by hydraulic pressure, which is why there is no need for any hydraulic connection. It is sufficient to connect the grease line from the pump to the breaker. This design allows for easy maintenance, provides suitable force, and does not affect breaker operation due to the absence of a hydraulic connection.


Underwater Application

MTB Breakers can be used for underwater applications effectively. However, if water fills the space where the piston strikes the tool, a strong pressure wave occurs, which may damage the breaker. To mitigate this, there is an air line on the breaker that supplies compressed air to the piston impact area. This compressed air helps prevent the adverse effects of water by removing it from the piston impact area.

Big Volume Accumulator

Hydraulic Accumulator protects the breaker from peak pressure. The hydraulic accumulator doesn't need gas charging for a long time and recharging at the job site.


Mtb Drifter (DRF Series)

DRF drifter is designed to drill hard rock by hammering, rotating and flushing rock part tides, of which system is consisted of a simple and practical component. Hydraulic drifter is composed flushing part, rotation device and hammering-device. High drilling speed has been attained by increasing the efficiency of hammering energy, which increase the life of consumables. Automatic pressure regulator is provided to adjust pressure in order to meet the various rock properties. DRF drifter is used for; drilling hole for explosion preparations that the mines, mounting steel construction on the wall of tunnel constructions.


Tools

Piston

The stress coming to impact area has been reduced by getting longer impact area. Also it provides impact transfer to chisel with high efficiency.


Front Head

With new front head design, the stress that is coming to the front head and side rod has been reduced. The area between side rod nut and tool pin has more stress during the operation. The stress has been decreased by increasing the distance between side rod nut - tool pin with NG MTBs. The NG MTBs' front head is more stronger than before.


Side Rod

The New Generation MTB's (NG MTB) side rod length is shorter than before and has mono anti-vibration rubber. Old series have two rubbers before; dust and mud stay between the rubbers. It cause stuck the side rod inside the front head. NG MTBs don't have this problem. Short side rod has less stress than longer side rod. It has been decreased 30% the stress that is coming on the side rod by new front head design. The thread of side rod is formed by high technology method instead of machining.


Thrust Ring/Tool

The thrust ring design has been changed completely. The chisel and thrust ring touching face angle has been changed from 45° to 60° degree. With this design, the touch-face area is much than before and it provides much longer wearing life. The premature area of tool has been designed both before and after recessing has been removed. It could decrease premature breaking of tool at the retaining area after excessive tightening limit of bushing.


Mounting

Strong Housing

Housing material is a special bending type material, that's why it is strong. Also the welds on housing are reduced and no housing bolts are used. This makes the housing more rigid and stronger.


Strong Buffer Support

The buffer system (side, top and bottom buffers) that is used in MTB breakers, has a special impact and vibration absorbing properties. This protects the breaker and excavator.


C-Type Housing For Marble Mines

The breakers can be used sometimes like a "ripper". This application is never recommended. Otherwise, housing will be damaged. MTB suggests avoiding the use of the hammer like a ripper, but for this kind of application, MTB has developed the "C-Type" housing design if it is not possible to avoid. "C-Type" housing has long life and high quality for marble and heavy duty jobs.
