Breaker TEST BENCH
AEM Tool Energy Rating test bench simulates actual working conditions under controlled situations. Each breaker is tested 25 times while AEM defined ‘energy’ is monitored during the test procedure. The exact impact energy measured by strain gauges on both ends is recorded on a computer. In comparison with other AEM-MMB tested breakers, variables like flow, pressure, and others that affect actual impact energy throughout the tests are averaged to one specific value. By having this test bench, end users will find confidence in the AEM-Tool Energy rating, which provides customers with more practical and valuable standards to select breakers. Only breakers that have been tested and certified under AEM regulation can display the AEM-MMB® decal.
