Easy to Manoeuvre

The T-Rex Shuttle is a single-axle wagon, facilitating easy reversing and maximizing manoeuvrability. As the transfer wagon is fitted with high, wide tires of 800/60R 32, the tensile force required is relatively low – resulting in less compaction and damage to soil surfaces. This makes the transfer wagon highly suitable for harvesting activities during difficult and wet conditions.

Chain-and-Slat Conveyor

The large dimensioned hydraulic chain-and-slat conveyor is split into two segments and features four heavy duty chains designed to bear even the heaviest of loads. As a safety function, the scraper floor cannot be operated as long as the rear door is closed. The T-Rex features heavy duty side walls made of galvanised powder painted steel plates.

Grain Kit

With the optional grain kit, the floor is tightened with strong brushes. The lower part of the front wall is covered with an industrial plastic film. An additional plate with brushes at the rear end ensures no material is lost when the tailgate is closed. The slat-and-chain conveyor will be completely covered by the tailgate when closed, ensuring that no material is lost on the road.

The T-Rex transport wagons are designed to match these requirements and are recognised by massive capacity, large loading volume, and high discharge speed. As these factors to a large extent determine the efficiency of the harvesting process, the Vicon silage wagons T-Rex 400-450-500-550 are the ideal machines for a high number of transport tasks. With capacities of 40-45-50-55 m³ respectively and loading capacities of 24 and 34 tons, they contribute to an optimum harvesting process.

Non-Stop Harvesting Chain

The T-Rex Shuttle transfer wagon has been developed in order to optimize the logistic efficiency of harvesting and transporting crops. It will act as the efficient link between the forager and trucks waiting at the edge of the field. The T-Rex Shuttle is designed to suit the most efficient harvesting chain, and two T-Rex Shuttles will help you keep the harvesting system busy and efficient. While the first T-Rex Shuttle is following the forager, the second one is unloading at the truck, always keeping both ends of the harvesting chain busy.

Designed Into a System Approach

The T-Rex Shuttle has a loading capacity of 30.5 m³ DIN, which allows a standard 60 m³ DIN truck to be filled with 2 T-Rex Shuttle loads. Crops can be transferred quickly to trucks at the edge of the field, enabling considerably larger amounts of silage to be transported in less time. Employing trucks increases the efficiency of transporting grass and maize silage in addition to saving on costs. In addition, dirt on roads is reduced and traffic congestion caused by crop transports is kept to a minimum.

Fast and Efficient Unloading

The 3-step hydraulically driven chain and slat conveyor guarantees a short transfer time of less than 2 minutes. This creates substantial savings, both in time and costs. No time is lost. An optional camera can be fitted at the rear of the T-Rex Shuttle.

Unloading at 4.70m Height

When transferring crop, a scissor construction hydraulically hoists the container to a height of approximately 4.70 m. The optional telescoping axle adds extra stability during loading and unloading.

T-Rex 550

T-Rex 550 has a hydraulic sprung tridem boogie design, which can be equipped with an axle lift. The T-Rex 550 is fitted with power steering for accurate and safe manoeuvrability in the field. Hydraulic brake system is standard with the option of airbrake system.

Spring Loaded Boogie Axles

The strong and very stable tandem axle offers smooth operation and is designed for safe and fast transport of the crop to the silage clamp or when working off-road in the field. The T-Rex is fitted with parabolic spring loaded boogie axles. The asymmetric mounted springs and wide distance of the suspension ensures that both axles are levelled or balanced at any time. This provides even weight distribution with load evenly distributed on all 4 wheels. This makes the T-Rex easier to pull, and reduces soil compaction and tyre wear when operating in the field. The standard level of specification comprises a hydraulic brake system and XXL 700/50R 26.5 tyres, but will accept tyres up to 800mm wide, which significantly reduces ground pressure. The T-Rex is standard fitted with steered wheels, improving manoeuvrability when space is limited. It also reduces ground damages when turning in the field and tyre wear.
