Our aim is to help you make best-quality forage with a minimum of drying time. The CLAAS spring tines transform the forage into an evenly spread layer, paving the way for a good crop. Highly flexible spring steel tines with five windings provide maximum strength and flexibility. Round tine arms cope with heavy loads and ensure reliable tine guidance. The throw angle can be adjusted for different work stages or forage types. A tine protection system is included as standard.

Small details mean a lot.

The fingers of the rugged tines on VOLTO tedders are equal in length and are designed to pick up the swath cleanly for a uniform swath spread. The crop is picked up in layers for thorough mixing and even drying. There is negligible crop contamination, thanks to step-by-step handling. Tine breakage is reduced due to uniform loading of the pairs of tine fingers. Identical tines for each rotor direction simplify spare parts purchasing and stocking, making tine replacement straightforward.

Robust tine arms for heavy loads.

The circular tine arms are bolted to the extra-strong rotor plate. The reinforcement ring has recesses for each tine arm to provide extra strength. Thanks to their circular shape, the tine holders resist bending, resulting in reliable tine guidance and fewer breakages.

Refined tine catches to prevent tine loss.

The tine catches effectively prevent the loss of tines and, thanks to their trapezoid shape, stop the forage from wrapping around the tine arms.

Tried and tested

The VOLTO 1050 T, 75 T and 64 models are driven by jointed shafts. With generously proportioned cast iron joints on the arms and the cast-iron rotor bearings, these machines are a prime example of compact but sturdy design in a great value-for-money package. All VOLTO tedders are equipped with easily-serviced hexagonal shafts for a reliable power flow – year in, year out.

Plenty of strength at hand.

The generously dimensioned connecting tubes between the individual rotors are angled at 45°. This geometry absorbs torsional forces and the extra-large mating surfaces create additional strength for the bolted connections.

Exclusively from CLAAS: SYNCHROLINK.

The two halves of the tedder are secured separately, but if they hit an obstacle the drive trains stop simultaneously, thanks to the unique coupling. By dividing the forces, the cut-out torque in the event of an overload is kept as low as possible. The drive train is protected and wear on all parts is reduced to a minimum. A long service life and trouble-free operation over huge acreages in the hands of professional users guarantees you good returns in hay and silage.

Tough running gear.

Super balloon tyres and sturdy 35-mm axle stubs (45-mm on the VOLTO 1320 T) provide all VOLTO models with safe ground tracking, even at high speeds.

Adjustable brake.

Adjustable brakes provide additional safety on the professional VOLTO 870, 770 and 670 and VOLTO 77 and 58 models.

Additional castor guide wheel

The additional front castor guide wheel (optional on all three-point tedders) enables the VOLTO to move independently of the tractor. The upper link then runs in a slotted hole in the three-point frame. A dual castor guide wheel is fitted as standard on the VOLTO 1320 T and is optionally available on the VOLTO 870 T and 770 T models. Furthermore, all VOLTO machines can be equipped with a spare wheel including holder.

Double checking.

The dual castor-mounted guide wheels keep the VOLTO 1320 at a consistent height over the field surface. This ensures clean forage and optimal crop pick-up.

Clean field perimeters.

Perimeter spreading is done by fitting the VOLTO with either a mechanical or a hydraulically powered, extendable crop guard. The hydraulically folding crop guard is activated via a dual-acting spool valve. The mechanically folding crop guard is easily folded out into its working position after simply releasing the retaining bolt with the handle.

The VOLTO 770 has been designed specially for use with three-metre-wide mowers and for heavy silage work. You can ted three big swaths cleanly and without running over the crop. The ingenious folding mechanism on the VOLTO 770 combines a large working width of 7.7 metres with a low transport height. It's designed to fit close up and securely behind the tractor.

Your quality assurance in the harvest

With its 7.70-metre working width, the VOLTO 77 is designed for medium to large operations. It has eight rotors ensuring that the crop is picked up cleanly and spread in an even carpet over the full width. Low-weight design means that it can easily be used with smaller tractors, even on hilly terrain. Enhanced safety through CKL.

The CKL power drawbar consists of a pair of telescopic arms fitted to the chassis. Spring-loaded braking cones built into the telescopic arms of the CKL system ensure safer running of the machine. Direct transfer of machine weight to the lower linkage. No torsional forces mean less wear on the three-point mounting. Reduced loading on the carrier between tedder and three-point mounting. Uniform contour following and constant working height of the tines. Smooth field crossing regardless of width; no bouncing. No tedder overrun on downhill slopes.
