The Japanese OEM is going to showcase a total number of 42 machines including 27 innovations. The brad-new products will be displayed on 4,550 m² stand in hall C6. Moreover, the remaining 15 machines will be presented in action within the demo show area (2,800 m²), right outside the main stand. Visitors can therefore experience the full line of Komatsu machines during earthmoving and mining tasks.

The PC4000-11 is the most innovative hydraulic excavator by Komatsu. With operating weight of 400 tons and shovel/backhoe capacity of 22 m³, the PC4000-11 is a perfect match for 150 to 240 U.S. ton trucks. The excavator is fully customizable and the electric version is rated at 1400 kW / 1875 HP.

A new model in the midi excavator segment - the PC88MR-11 will also be on display within the demo ground area. Komatsu PC88MR-11 is based on the successful model PC88MR-10 and brings many upgrades such as lower fuel consumption or better performance. It is equipped with a brand new Stage V Komatsu 2.4 litre engine with KDPF that delivers 50.7 kW / 68hp. The operating weight ranges from 8,500 to 9,130 kg, depending on attachments. The PC88MR-11 midi excavator can be equipped with buckets of capacity up to 0.34 m³.

Komatsu will also present its inovative products such as The Komtrax Next Generation and Komtrax Data Analytics wireless monitoring systems, digital and electronic technologies and sustainable solutions towards carbon neutrality. The real eye-catcher will be the exclusive Virtual Stand that will provide a glimpse into the near future and showcase visitors upcoming innovations for wheel loaders.

The Japanese manufacturer showcased more than 30 products ranging from a versatile MR-5 mini excavator to a strong PC4000 mining excavator. The portfolio features dash 8 backhoe loaders (e.g. WB93R-8), dash 11 excavators (PC240LC-11), dash 8 wheel loaders (WA320-8), hybrid excavators HB215LC-3/HB365NLC-3 (Stage IV) or Intelligent Machine Control excavators and dozers.

Komatsu has been at the forefront of innovative digital and environmental technologies and visitors at bauma 2019 were treated to Komatsu World Premieres, which were revealed at the fair.
